Welcome to the support page for the Prestwick Aquathon races.
The Spring Aquathon will take place on the 11th May – Entries are now open – Race will have chip timing this year!!
At Prestwick Aquathon we aim to keep things old school, including the race entry fee. Striking a balance between a laid back relaxed atmosphere and a serious competition. Young athletes repeatedly say that “it’s their favourite aquathon,” whilst parents say “It’s very well run”. We like to think it just runs like clockwork.
The swim is within Prestwick Swimming Pool, transition just outside the pool and the run is around the surrounding parkland. It’s ideal for an aquathon. Yes, we have had bad weather, but over the years, the sun usually smiles on us.
It gets even better though, because once you have done that, you can come back in the autumn to do it again!
The Prestwick Aquathon takes place twice a year and is a safe and fun course aimed and youths and juniors. The swim is in Prestwick Pool, a 25m, 4 lane pool. The run is on grass and paths surrounding the pool. This is a fun event, organised by Ayrodynamic Triathlon Club to support the development of young athletes.
