Swim Equipment

At the Monday Swim sessions in Trool Pool, it would be ideal if all swimmers could bring swim training equipment in a mesh bag.  Key equipment should include: kick-board, pull buoy, paddles, fins and a bottle of water.  More info and advice an be found in this file – Swim Training Equipment

Open Water Swimming

A key part of triathlon is open water swimming as many of our races take part in lakes, rivers, seas etc.  For novices (and many experienced athletes) this can be quite daunting and challenging.  The basic swimming skills transfer well from the pool to open water but there is etc equipement, cold water and many other challenges to face!  For more info and advice, check out this file – A Guide to Open Water Swimming
